I finally colored my Eeinie model! It’s actually easy to do, but it took me a while to figure it out because I’m such a DunderHead! The next step is to create the inner bones so I can pose the little fellow!
Don’t know what it’s like in Maya, but in my program it takes a lot of adjustments and fine tuning to get the body (skin) to bend properly with the bones due to interference.
Yeah Peter – I’m not quite up to that point yet. The last couple of weeks I’ve been setting up the joints and the IK handles and manipulators for animation. I haven’t gotten to the binding stage yet, but it sounds like that can be real tricky.
It can be a pain, that’s for sure.
